Keeping eyes safe We use a specific blend of quartz glass and internal coatings to filter out those harsh, blinding frequencies. The goal is to keep the infrared bands—the ones that actually make you feel warm—while killing off that piercing white light. It’s not about making the light “soft.” It’s about being smart with the physics. This way, you get all the warmth you need to dry out a damp room without worrying about retinal fatigue or hurting a baby’s developing vision. Dealing with water and heat Water and electricity are a terrible mix, especially in a steamy bathroom. That’s why we wrap everything in IP66-rated housings. In plain English? It’s dust-tight and can handle high-pressure water jets without breaking a sweat. We use reinforced cable glands and high-temp silicone gaskets to keep the seal tight. But here’s the catch. When you seal something that tightly, the heat gets trapped. If you put a high-wattage lamp in a tiny box, the inside is going to get scorching. You’ve got to make sure the surface it’s mounted to can actually breathe and bleed off that heat. If it can’t, your wiring is eventually going to fry.
