Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz envelope. It keeps the filament steady at high temps and delivers consistent output over the life of the heater. An internal coating helps manage the spectral output and prevents hot spots that can crack components. Then there’s the R7s connector—simple, straight-line, two-pin. It makes wiring quick and repeatable, locks the tube in place so it won’t twist under vibration, and gives you solid contact for dependable current transfer.
